Old Tires can be an Added Cost
When buying a used RV, RVSearch.com recommends that you try to find out how new the tires are. The date when a tire was manufactured is located on the sidewall of each tire. Each tire has a "DOT" code that will tell you the date of the manufacture of the tires. For example, a DOT code ending with "0405" indicates a tire made in the 4th week of 2005. Tires that are greater than 5 years old might need to be replaced. Consider adding in the cost of new tires when you think about the cost of buying your used RV.
